Last Day to Register to Vote in Hawaii for 2008 Election

The last day to register to vote in Hawaii is next Monday, October 6th.

Are you registered? Are your friends and family? Each and every vote in Hawaii is absolutely crucial on Election Day. But in just a few days, the time for bringing new voices into the political process will be over.

You need to be certain that you, your friends, and your family are registered by the deadline — it’s a small step that will have a huge impact on our nation’s future.

This election is too important to leave anything to chance. Make sure your voice is heard — and forward this page to all the Hawaiians you know.

  1. I am a spouse in the US Army and I didn’t know if I could vote here in Hawaii or if I had to vote with my home town. I would really like to vote, I realize that the deadline was OCT 6. Is there some way to do an exception so I can have my say on Election day!

    Thank you for your time,

  2. Hi Victoria,

Looks like you’ve missed the state voter registration deadlines, but you can still register and vote Federal-only, meaning you can vote for president, VP and congressional candidates. Download the form at http://www.fvap.gov/resources/media/fpca.pdf . Your question also prompted today’s post (Voter Registration for Members of the US Armed Forces and Their Families).

    Good luck!
