Barack Obama spent most of of his childhood in Hawaii. Looking at photos of his youth, it couldn’t be any more obvious to reasonable people that the right-wing media reports that he is a “rag head who won’t salute the flag” are flat wrong.

Like everyone else on vacation in Hawaii, Barack Obama hit the beach during his recent vacation and visit to his elderly grandmother, who lives in Honolulu. Body surfing was just one activity on his schedule. He also went snorkeling and attended a political rally held at Keehi Lagoon. After a intense 19-month-long political battle with Hilary Clinton for the Democratic nomination, I’m guessing he really needed the break.

What use are graduate school rankings? They really only tell you which schools the big wig academics like best, but that’s not very helpful when you’re trying to find out which program would best fit your plans.
